Tracking the Venezuela-linked Vessel 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

Our team is analyzing images and video circulated this morning that purport to show the scene of a alleged car bomb explosion that Russian officials say killed a high-ranking soldier in Moscow.
Officials in Russia stated that Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was inside the car that detonated and that he succumbed to his injuries. A probe is currently ongoing.
The initial step to verify the site from which the images were from was based on social media reports indicating the blast happened on Yasenevaya Street in the southern part of the Russian capital.
We used street-view imagery on Google Maps and the local mapping service Yandex to match the distinctive yellow colour of a adjacent residential complex captured in the video.
Identifying other structures, lamp-posts and the street layout verified the exact location the footage were captured.
Additionally, we verified that the videos were recent and that the images had not undergone manipulated.
